Arizona Dude Ranches

Grapevine Canyon Ranch - Pierce, Arizona

Open: Year Round

The philosophy here is “rugged outside, but pampered inside”.  While the grounds and the lodge buildings reflect the feeling and air of the Old West, the guest accommodations are first class, with many amenities found only in excellent hotels.  When you return from working cattle, from a brisk hike, or an entertaining day of sight-seeing, you’ll return to total relaxation, with warm, friendly and personal attention, good food, and all the other comforts which make a perfect dude ranch vacation. Grapevine Canyon Dude Ranch photo
Grapevine Canyon Ranch is a working cattle and guest ranch situated in the high desert of southeast Arizona, at 5,000 ft. (1,500 meters).   The ranch, which comfortably hosts an intimate maximum of thirty guests, is an hour and a half drive from Tucson, and is located in the rugged Dragoon Mountains, near the historic Cochise Stronghold, where the terrain varies from wooded rolling hills to mountains.  There are beautiful trails to hike, old Indian village sites and ghost towns to explore, many species of birds to watch, and plenty of sightseeing - with Tombstone, Bisbee, Old Mexico, and the Chiricahua National Monument nearby.
Due to insurance restrictions, Grapevine Canyon Ranch does not provide any services for kids, nor do they accommodate any children under 12-years of age.  Their pool is not fenced, and their corrals are too accessible to little people, thus children must be over the age of 12 to stay at this ranch.
